The Greater Vancouver Comets are the 2024/25 BCEHL champions after a 4-3 overtime win over the Northern Capitals on Saturday, March 22. Carolyn Koo #10 scores 2 goals, including the overtime winner, in a nail-biting game for the programs first championship under head coach Melanie Jue. The Comets have won the BCEHL championship a total of 4 times including a 3 year dynasty from 2017-2019, only to be halted in a record setting year in 2020 due to the global pandemic. The team will take on the Alberta Provincial champion Edmonton Jr. Oilers April 4-6 for a spot in the Esso Cup National Championship in Lloydminster, Alberta.
